DLI, part of Knowles, has introduced 10dB and 20dB directional couplers for C, X and Ku bands. Broadband Directional Coupler
Made using thin-film high-permittivity temperature-stable materials , they are intended for commercial, military and space microwave applications.
“The four port couplers are excellent for high frequency signal monitoring applications where board space is a premium and quality power detection or injection is required,” said DLI.
Designed for a 50Ω characteristic impedance, the surface-mount package can cope with various PCB feed line configurations.
Chip and wire mount devices with the same performance are also available, as are custom versions.
Temperature range is -55 to +125°C.
